My love affair with WordPress stretches back to the days of version two. The dawn of version three has reinforced my feelings towards this awesome piece of kit and it’s the first system I recommend to potential clients.
The move towards responsive design, the wealth of developers in the community and the constant upgrading of the platform make it an essential piece of any web designer’s arsenal.
I advise my clients that it’s not just a blogging platform and it can be used extensively for dynamic websites as well.
Using WordPress for multiple blogs is also an advantage to the platform. At the University of Westminster I roll out a range of blogs using the child theme method extensively. This allows us to continually update the templates as the brand progresses and the WordPress sites can quickly be updated.
